Duncan drilled 26 and put up four total blocks, three of which were solo, to account for over two points per set, highlighting individual play. Bailey had the best attack percentage amongst Spartans appearing in 10-or-more sets (.180); Tevis rattled opposing defenses with 13 kills, a .135 attack percentage, and three solo blocks; and Campbell made a solid impression in her first outing for the Black and Gold with ten kills and seven digs … Manchester University dropped a four-set battle with Carroll College of Wisconsin in the tourney opener and was swept by the host school, Loras College of Iowa, and the Milwaukee School of Engineering to conclude the two-day Windy City excursion … Following Tuesday’s match-up against the Belles, the Black and Gold begin a year’s best eight-match homestand Wednesday, Sept. 12, as Olivet College of Michigan pays a visit to Stauffer-Wolfe Arena.
