The Wabash Apaches dug a deep hole in the first quarter Friday, trailing by two touchdowns before falling to Maconaquah 49-20.
The Braves would jump out to a 21-0 lead on three running touchdowns before Jared Holley found Logan Vander Velden for a 32yd scoring touchdown to make it 21-7 after one.
Maconaquah would get the only two scores of the second quarter from 1yd and 17yds out to increase their lead to 36-7 at the half.
Wabash would score first in the third quarter when Holley and Vander Velden hooked up again, this time from 23yds for a 36-13 score.The Braves would answer with their sixth rushing touchdown of the game, making it 42-13 after three.
In the fourth Holley would find Payton Sodervick from 5yds out for a 42-20 score before Maconquah scored one more time for the 49-20 final.
