Wabash Boys Soccer Falls To Blackford

The Wabash Boys varsity soccer team dropped a rough home match to the Blackford Bruins 3-2 Thursday.

The Bruins took an early lead, but Wyatt Davis slotted in 2 first half goals to take a lead into halftime. Grant Carandante assisted on one of the goals.

After the break, the Bruins tied the match with a header and benefited from a glaring sun for the game winner.

In a half of action after the boys varsity match against Blackford, the Wabash JV Apaches soccer team dropped a match 2-0. Jon Maiztegui made multiple saves to keep the Apaches in the match.

The Apaches take on Delphi at home Saturday for their next match.
