Wabash Boys Soccer Shuts Out Peru

The Wabash boys varsity soccer team visited the Peru Tigers on Tuesday in a TRC matchup. The Apaches were held by the Tigers early, but Paul Cordes opened up the scoring with a laser from the right sideline. Wyatt Davis rounded out the scoring in the first half with an unassisted goal.

The Apaches opened the scoring in the second half with Braden Brooks heading in a corner from Austin Black. Austin Black snagged his second assist of the night by laying off the fourth goal to Wyatt Davis. Davis would snag another goal in the match, giving him a hat trick for the game.

The Apaches were lead by Traydon Goodwin and Blayze Shemwell on defense, as Shemwell made 6 saves on the night.

The Apaches return to play on Saturday away at Tri Central.
