The Wabash High School boys cross country team hosted their own invite Tuesday evening. Led by junior Dereck Vogel, the meet’s individual winner the Apaches placed 5 in the top 7 and 7 among the first 11. Zack Reed was runner-up, Blakley Cole 4th, Koby Prater 5th, Aaron Nickerson 7th, Jarrett Wilson 10th and Caleb Callahan 11th. Ethan Kocher was the meets top finishing freshman with a 14th place finish.
Out of 32 girls, senior Whitney Working came in 6th with a time of 23:25. Angel Wherly, a junior, came in 10th overall with a time of 25:37. Camille Kugler and Sierra Hall both ran and were able to finish one after another with an unofficial score.
