Garriott Hat Trick Leads Lady Squires Past Peru

The Manchester girls soccer team got a big win on the road Wednesday against Peru, defeating the Tigers 6-1.

Emma Garriott scored in the first 2 minutes off an assist from Jirni Cripe. Addie Haecker got her first goal of her career shortly after. Emma Garriott then had back to back goals on an assist from Haley Clifford and Lainey Shock putting the Lady Squires up 4-1 at the half.

Manchester opened up the second half with a goal from Haylie Miller assisted again by Jirni Cripe. Finally Beletu Stout finished a break away to finalize the 6-1 win.

Lex Donathan, Haley Clifford, Ranissa Shambarger, and Hadley Schannep had a great night on defense shutting down many of the Peru runs. Bailey Mooney and Jirni Cripe did a great job controlling the middle and the game.
