Squires Soccer Sets Scoring Record In Win Over North Miami

The Manchester boys soccer team clinched and undefeated TRC campaign Wednesday, knocking off conference nemesis North Miami 4-0.

Coming in the heavy favorite the Squires struggled in the first half finding the back of the net, but not because of lack of shots.Isaiah Davis would score the lone goal in the first half with 18:20 to play to give Manchester a 1-0 lead at the half.

The second half would be a bit different as the missed shots from the first half started to find the back of the net. With 37:55 left in the game Caleb Stout would score off a Michael Wirsing assist. Just five minutes later Stout would assist Davis to make it 3-0. Davis would finish off his hat trick with 21;33 left for a 4-0 score.

With the Davis hat trick the Squires were at 99 goals for the season and for the last 21:00 made several shots that were either just off or stopped by the North Miami goalie. Manchester has now out scored their opponents 99-9(63-3 TRC) thus far this season. The 99 goals is a school record which they previously broke just a game ago(95).
