The Northfield Norsemen were tied at the half at North Miami Friday before owning the second half in a 33-7 win over the Warriors.
There were just two scores in the first half. Northfield got on the board in the first quarter when Braden Ripplinger broke loose for a 30yd score and a 7-0 lead after one.
North Miami would would get the lone score of the second quarter when Sonafrank scored from 4yds out to make it 7-7 at the half.
The Norse would grab the lead in the third before putting the game away in the fourth. In the third Ripplinger crossed the goal line from 1yd away to give Northfield a 13-7 lead after three before the dominate fourth.
With 10:57 left in the game Ripplinger found the end zone for the third time from 4yds out to lead 20-7 before breaking loose from 34yds away with 6:39 left for a 27-7 lead. With 5:32 left Levi Fulkerson raced 14yds for the score and the 33-7 final.
