The Wabash Apaches led at the half before giving up 21 unanswered points in a 30-22 loss to Central Noble Friday.
Wabash would jump out to an 8-0 lead in the first quarter when Jared Holley broke loose for a 63yd score. Holley ran for the two point conversion to lead 8-0.
Central Noble would score on a safety before scoring on a pass play to grab a 9-7 lead when the Apaches had an answer. Holley would connect with Peyton Sodervick from 30yds out for a 15-9 lead, the get another long Holley run, this time from 76yds away to lead 22-9 at the half.
Things went south for the Apaches in the second half. Central Noble would score 21 unanswered third quarter points to take a 30-22 lead then play the Apaches to a 0-0 tie in the fourth for the 30-22 final.
