The Southwood C team defeated Madison Grant 55-30

Southwood jumped out to an early lead that they never relinquished on Thursday. The Argyll 1-2-2 zone defense allowed the Knights to get numerous open shots on the perimeter, fortunately many of those shots went in. The hosts would knock down six 3 point baskets in the opening half, and eight for the game. The defense also limited the visitors to only 10 points at intermission, and challenged them on every possession. Several defensive rebounds and steals led directly to points on the other end. All seven players scored tonight and our team put together a complete game on both ends of the floor.

Koby Thomas – 14 pts
Jayden Timmons – 13 pts
Brayden Smith – 12 pts
AJ Getz – 10 pts
