Manchester JH Falls At Crestview
The Manchester junior high basketball teams traveled to Huntington to play Crestview Tuesday night and dropped both games.
7th grade started out well and finished the half all tied at 17. Third quarter was costly for the Squires. Trailed 24-36 after the third. The Squires final score was 30-44. Manchester was led in scoring by Gavin Martin with 11pts. Evan Martynowicz had 7 and Garrett Sites had 5. 7th grade record is 0-1 for the year.
8th grade had a slow start that ended up being very costly. Trailing 4-13 after the 1st, 10-19 at the half. Squires pulled it within 2pts with three’s from Maddox Zolman and Caden Miller in the third but ended the game losing 19-31. Manchester was led in scoring by Zolman with 7pts. Miller finished with 5 and Brock Casper had 4pts. 8th grade record is 0-1 for the year.
