    Wabash Senior Kiana Jones signed today to play Soccer next fall at Manchester University. Jones was a 4 year starter for the Wabash Lady Apache Soccer team. Wabash went 32-19-3 during those four seasons. She plans to major in Criminology.

  • Late Rally Lifts Spartans Past Anderson

    NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – A late game rally by the Manchester University baseball team helped the Spartans earn a split of Wednesday’s Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader against rival Anderson. The Spartans rallied with a four-run 8th inning in the opener of Wednesday’s twinbill as MU defeated Anderson 6-5. The Ravens were able to clip Manchester in extra innings in the second game of the day, winning 6-5 in 10 innings.

  • Manchester U Softball Falls To Transylvania

    LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Manchester University softball team dropped its Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference openers at Transylvania University on Saturday April 2. The host Pioneers edged the Spartans in the opening game of the day by a final score of 5-2. Transy would complete the doubleheader sweep with an 11-1 win in five innings in the second contest of the afternoon.

  • Spartans Fall On Buzzer Beater

    NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – Tuesday’s men’s basketball contest between Manchester University and Ohio Northern inside of Stauffer-Wolfe Arena came down to the wire. The Black & Gold managed to grab a one-point lead with just 3.1 seconds left in the game following an old-fashioned three-point play by first-year point guard Quentez Columbus (South Bend, Ind./Adams). After an Ohio Northern timeout, the Polar Bears were able to capitalize on their Hail Mary heave as ONU’s Landen Long banked in the game-winning three-pointer as time expired, lifting Ohio Northern to a hard-fought 87-85 victory.
