Big Second Half Lifts Lady Norse Past Maconaquah

The Northfield Lady Norse got off to a bit of a slow start at Maconaquah Tuesday before turning it on in the second half in a 68-34 win over the Braves.

Northfield led just 14-10 after the first quarter and 23-21 at the half before turning it on in the second half. The Lady Norse would take the third quarter 18-6, then put up 27 points in the fourth for the 68-34 final.

Kyra Kennedy led with 19 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds, and 7 steals. Kelcie Thomson added 17 points, 3 assists, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals. Ariel Dale had 12 points and 5 rebounds.

Northfield won the junior varsity contest 42-24

Fayth Leming led with 20 points followed by Addy Rosen with 10.
