Lady Knights Fall At Pioneer

The Southwood Lady Knights traveled to Royal Center Saturday, falling to Pioneer 58-36

Perhaps a bit of fatigue to start the game as the Knights fell behind 8-2 in a couple minutes. The Knights would re-group and finish the quarter strong with 6 more points each from MaKenna Pace and Morgan Farr to tie 14-14 after 1.

The 2nd quarter would ultimately prove the downfall of the game after some failed assignments, turnovers and offensive rebounds given up would see the Knights down 20-31 at half

A promising 2nd wind in the 3rd quarter would fizzle after pulling back within 7 and the Knights ran out of gas to fall further behind in the closing quarter before losing 36-58.
