Manchester JH Boys Split With Peru

The Manchester junior high boys basketball teams split a pair of games with Peru Tuesday.

The 7th grade lost 36-45. Leading the way for the Squires was Tyler McLain and Dallas Watson with 10 points each. Garrett Sites had 9, Gavin Martin had 4, and Tanner Cooley had 2 points. Sites and Watson each had 5 rebounds and 5 steals. The 7th grade Squires are now 2-6 on the season.

The 8th grade won 47-16. Caden Miller led with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Liam York had 9, Brock Casper 8, Lane Stetzel and Kobe Flock each had 3, Trevor Heath and Harrison Sturtsman each had 2, and Traceson Gearhart had 1 point to round out the scoring for the Squires. The 8th grade Squires are now 2-8 on the season.
Both teams travel Thursday to take on Northfield Norseman.
