Wabash JH Girls Fall To RJ Baskett
The Wabash junior high girls basketball teams took on RJ Baskett Thursday.
The 7th grade fell to RJ 56-11
Sidney Sickafus led the team with 9 points. Reagan Pries added 2.
The Wabash 8th grade fell to RJ 25-17
After leading at the half, Wabash struggled to score in the 3rd quarter against a strong defensive effort from RJ Baskett. Fighting back in the 4th the Lady Apaches down 20-17 with under 40 seconds to play had to foul. RJ Basket responded well, hitting 5 of 7 free throws to seal the game. This defensive battle was most definitely a fan pleaser of a game and one that helped both teams get better.
