Sluggish Second Half Cost Norse At Valley
The Northfield Norsemen led at the half before falling at Tippecanoe Valley 76-57 Friday.
The Norse took an early lead on the Vikings and had many chances to seal the game but couldn’t hold on in a 76-57 loss. Northfield shot 60% in the first half and led 36-29 at the break before being out scored 47-21 in the second half.
Clayton Tomlinson had 18 points and two assists, Jared Peas added 12 points and 4 assists. Nate Drancik had 9 points and led the team with 5 rebounds, Logan Peas and Graydon Holmes each scored 8 and Chance Hartman scored the last two.
The Norse are back in action Saturday night against Madison Grant.
