Wabash 8th Girls Runner Up At Maconaquah

The Wabash 8th grade girls finished 1-1 on the day at the Maconaquah Invite Saturday.

In game one, Wabash shot well leading to a 59-12 win over host Maconaquah. In the championship game, the Lady Apaches came up short against RJ Baskett, falling 31-20.

The 7th Grade Lady Apaches went 1-1 at the Maconaquah Invitationals and continue to grown and improve every game. The team lost to Maconaquah 26-40 in first game but beat Southwood 24-12 in the second game. Kaitlyn Honeycutt put up 13 points for the Lady Apaches. Anna Simpson and Kierra Wilson each had 12 points for the day. Kiana Jones scored 6 and Sydney Sickafus had 2.

Wabash (8-3) will host Whitko Monday.
