Wabash JH Girls Split With Rochester


The Wabash junior high girls split a pair of games with Rochester Thursday.

The 7th Grade Lady Apaches finished their regular season play with a strong win against Rochester. The girls won 6 out of the last 7 games with an overall record of 6-9. The team had a strong defensive effort tonight to pull off the win. They will travel to Manchester on Monday night to begin the RRC Tournament.

Kaitlynn Lindsay- 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals
Kiana Jones- 10 pts, 2 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals
Talia Carrillo- 2 pts, 4 blocks, 2 steals
Bella Vail- 2 rebounds
Reagan Pries- 1 rebound, 1 steal
Paloma Shull- 1 rebound

The Wabash 8th grade girls lost a tough one to RRC counterpart Rochester Community MS. After a great first half ended with Wabash trailing 25-21, the Lady Apaches shooting went cold. Rochester took advantage of their size and were able to wear the Apaches down sealing the win in the 2nd Half.
