Norse Advance To Sectional Championship

Leading rebounder Nate Drancik scored 20 points and snared five boards to lead the Northfield Norse to a 72-48 win over Frontier Friday, advancing to the sectional championship Saturday.

Jared Peas added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals as the Norse had 15 steals on the night. Logan Peas scored 12 points with 5rebounds as Sophomore point guard Clayton Tomlinson continued to play well with 11 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Graydon Holmes was saddled with foul trouble most of the night but added 6 points and 5 rebounds. Jarret Shafer was outstanding off the bench with 2 points and 4 rebounds. Cole Rosen, Jasper Long and Braden Ripplinger all added 2 off the bench

Northfield will play Lafayette Central Catholic Saturday for the championship
