The Wabash Apaches scored 12 runs on 9 hits, defeating Elwood 12-1 Tuesday.

Most of the damage came the first two innings as Wabash led 9-0 after two. The Apaches would plate 5 runs in the first. Jared Holley would triple and score on a Robert Irgang ground out and was followed by Blake Gribben singling home Kallen Kelsheimer. A hit batter and a walk made it 4-0 before Trenton Daughtry was hit by a pitch, forcing home Jordan Booth for a 5-0 lead.

Kelsheimer would single to start the second and score on an Irgang single to make it 6-0 before Payton Sodervick became the third Apache to be hit by a pitch. An error and a Jasper Walter single made it 8-0 before a Daughtry double made it 9-0.

Elwood would score their lone run in the fourth before the Apaches responded with 3 runs in the bottom of the inning. Kaleb Gidley would double and eventually score on a Jared Brooks fielders choice. Booth would score the final run on a wild pitch as Wabash went on to the 12-1 win.
