The Southwood baseball team fell behind 6-0 after two innings before falling at Huntington 7-3 Tuesday.
The Knights gave up 5 runs in the first and 1 in the second to fall in a 6-0 hole. The game would remain 6-0 until the sixth when the Knights plated a solo run. Mason Yentes would be hit by a pitch before Carson Rich reached on a fielders choice with Yentes reaching second. With one out and runners on second and third Cam Ball would hit a fly to left with Yentes tagging up to score. The Vikings would answer with a run in the bottom of the inning with Huntington leading 7-1 after six.
In the seventh Tristin Hayslett led off drawing a walk. Hayslett would advance to third on a ground out and a dropped third strike before scoring on a Koby Thomas two run blast to make it 7-3. Yentes would follow with a single with Rich drawing a walk before a ground out ended the game.
