Lady Squires Rally Falls Short At Whitko
The Manchester Lady Squires fell to Whitko 4-3 Wednesday.
Manchester would grab a 1-0 lead in the second when Kindra Stetzel singled and scored on a Mackenzie day single.
Whitko would answer with 2 runs in the fourth, 1 in the fifth and 1 in the sixth to lead 4-1 before the Squires put 2 on the board in the seventh. Day would lead off with a single before advancing to third on an Emma Garriott single. Lydia Greer would then ground out to score Day to make it 4-2 before an Emma West single scored Garriott to make it 4-3. Torina Runkel would follow reaching on a two out error to put runners on the corners before a ground out ended the game.
