Manchester Tennis Wraps Up Undefeated TRC
Manchester wrapped up another undefeated conference title with a dominate 5-0 win vs. Southwood Monday.
Playing at home, Manchester won comfortably at all singles spots. Kelsey Eichenauer at #1 singles won with another shutout 6-0,6-0. Halle Briner and Eva Bazzoni won with identical scores, 6-0,6-1 ending their sophomore regular seasons with great performances. Both Manchester double teams won 6-2,6-1. The top double team of Anna Osborne and Halie Wampler played an outstanding match winning with excellent play on important points. The two doubles team of Alyssa Marvel and Morgan Stroud played smart with solid returns.
Southwood did not have a JV so Manchester scrimmaged against themselves. Manchester ends the year with an 11-4 record and 8-0 TRC mark. Manchester drew the bye for Wednesday night of the Peru sectional and will play the winner of Wabash vs. Peru on Thursday at 5pm at Thrush Courts. Come cheer your Lady Squire Tennis team on to a fourth straight sectional title. The finals will be Friday at 5pm.
