Manchester Golf Fires Season Low

It was senior night at Sycamore Golf Course Thursday evening and the Manchester Squires shot their low 9 hole round of the year at 161.

Whitko finished in second with a 191, while Tippecanoe Valley shot 215. Highlight of the evening was senior Mathias McLaughlin, who shot a 40, improving on his 9 hole average by almost 12 shots. Mathias was only 1 over par on 8 of the 9 holes, including a birdie 2 on hole number 4. Harley Kruschwitz was medalist on the evening equaling his low 9 hole score on the year with a two under par 34, which included 4 birdies. Rounding out Manchester’s scores was Owen Kruschwitz with a 38, Senior Logan Parrett with season low 49 and Senior Konrad Borgmann with a 50. Juniors Hunter Klutz and Klayton Hendrix shot 53 and 54 respectively.

Manchester is in action again on Monday at the Warsaw Invitational at Tippecanoe Lake CC in Leesburg.
