The Southwood Knights traveled to Clinton Central Saturday and defeated Delphi 6-5.
The Knights fell behind 3-0 heading to the third before they broke the ice. Conner Rich(I think) would double before Mason Yentes was hit by a pitch with one out. Joey Bland would load the bases with a single before Logan Barley would hit into a fielders choice with Rich scoring.
In the fourth with one out Alex Farr would double and was followed by a Carson Rich single. Farr would score on a fielding error with Rich taking third, then scoring on the throw to make it 3-3.
In the fifth Barley would be hit by a pitch with one out before a Gabe Lloyd double. Barley would score on an error and was followed home by Lloyd for a 5-3 lead. Delphi would tie the score in the bottom of the inning.
The Knights would manufacture a run in the sixth. Conner Rich would hit a one out single before scoring on a Yentes two out single for the 6-5 lead.
