Wednesday Baseball At FOD

With some hard work from GREAT volunteers we were able to get fields ready and play some baseball at the Field of Dreams Wednesday night.

In the American League we seen The MiPubelo Cubs take on the Ford Meter Box Tigers. For the Tigers we seen the bats come alive and from players waiting to emerge. Preston Moore hit the ball every time he got up, James Kolwazuk put the ball in play and had a single. Once on the bases the Tigers ran great and took bases at every opportunity. Sarah Bever had a great hit that reached the fence for a stand up triple. For the Cubs: Luke Southwick has two base hits. T.J. Tracy had a base hit. Benjamin Hipskind pitched for the Cubs. The Cubs played some great defense.
Skylar Smith had the catch of the year in center field on a hard hit line drive. Eli Shellhammer and Logan Shellhammer both made great plays in the field. Chance Baker had two great plays at short stop. Tigers take the win 12-2.
