Tigers/White Sox Advance In American League Tourney

The American League Tournament rolled on Thursday night at the Field of Dreams.

The first game was the last two unbeaten teams, the Ford Meter Box Tigers took on the Todd Adams State Farm Giants. This game was a great battle, The Tigers ran off with the lead late in the game in a 10-6 victory.

The game was tied at six with The Tigers batting in the bottom of the third when Jaxon McCollum started the hit parade with a triple, followed by hits by Steven Kolwalzuk, Sarah Bever, Logan Osborn, and Larry Noland. The Tigers earned the victory despite allowing Giants to score five runs in the third inning. Cooper Good, Eli Elzroth and Isaac Studebaker all contributed in the big inning with RBIs. Sarah Bever pitched the whole game for the Tigers to help them move on to the Championship game this Sunday.

The second game of the night was a Elimination game between the Bott Mechanical White Sox and the Siders Premiere Real Estate Yankees.

SOX take a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first, add one more in the second, then the Yankees score 3 in the third, bottom of the third Sox score 7, top of the fourth. Yankees score 7 to make it 10-10, top of the. Fifth Yankees score 2, then the Sox came back and scored 3 to win the game,

Haylee friend pitched a super game for the Yankees, while Sawyer McNally and Andi Conliff teamed up for the White Sox,
