Wabash/Northfield Golf Tops Whitko
The Wabash and Northfield girls golf teams took on Whitko Monday.
The Lady Apaches golfers traveled to Sycamore Golf Course on Monday night and competed with the Whitko (214) and Northfield (200). The Lady Apaches were led by a pair of 44’s from co-medalist Bella Carrillo and Annie Cole. Halle Miller chipped in on hole 5 while shooting a 50. Lindsey Mattern made a par on her last hole to shoot a 51. Also competing for the Lady Apaches were Lacey Crist (62), Corinne Kugler (66), and Aubrey Till (67).
The NHS girls golf team participated in a match against Whitko at Sycamore golf club. The Lady Norse were victorious 200-214. Leading the way and earning co-medalist honors were Emma Wynn and Ainsley Dale with 47’s. Alex Cartwright fired a season’s best 49 and another personal best for Ella Satterthwaite with a 57. Also contributing were Kylie Leland with a 62, Briana Williams with a 63, and Christie Sparks with a 64.
