The Manchester boys soccer team won the Manchester Invite Saturday.
The Squires defeated Jimtown 7-5 in the semi final before topping Bellmont 5-0 in the championship.
In early game Manchester faced of with Jimtown. The Squires come out of the gate playing strong scoring 5 goals by 5 different players. Caleb Stout, Justin Self, Michael Ortiz, Hunter Klutz and Harley Kruschwitz all found the goal. Harley Kruschwitz and Michael Ortiz scored in the second half. The Jimmies scored 5 in the 2nd half. All 26 Squires players got in the game.
Manchester played Bellmont in the championship game. The Squire defense shutdown the Braves. Dillon Gish played an aggressive game in the goal holding Bellmont to one shot on goal. Colby Haecker also had a key save late in the game. Harley Kruschwitz scored 3 more goals. Dyson Rosen and Owen Kruschwitz also scored.
