Wabash Boys Soccer Nips Rochester

The Wabash boys varsity soccer team picked up a tough road win in TRC play on the road at Rochester.

The Apaches controlled play early, almost pulling ahead after a set-piece header by Traydon Goodwin. Wabash finally broke through with a clever goal by Tre Lopez, assisted by Mario Melendez.

The start of the second half was flat for the Apaches, as Rochester equalized early. After a back and forth 20 minutes, the Apaches pulled ahead with a wonderfully struck solo goal by Tre Lopez.

After a late Zebra flurry of chances, the Apaches closed the match out to take home the W.

The JV squad also saw a half of action, losing 2-0.

The varsity squad heads on the road again Thursday at Caston.
