Lady Norse JH Tops North Miami
The Northfield junior high volleyball teams topped North Miami Thursday.
The 7th grade Lady Norse volleyball team remains undefeated (6-0) with a 25-6, 25-15 win over North Miami on Thursday. Leading the team was Josie Weaver, Allie Weaver and Emma Warnock with four aces each while Camryn Kuhn added three. Elli Baker had three kills on the night.
Northfield’s 8th grade volleyball team picked up a win against North Miami tonight 25-14, 25-7. Ava Copeland led the team with 12 points, 7 aces and 7 assists. Autumn Burruss added 6 points with 2 aces; Brihanna Boocher had 6 points, 2 aces, 1 kill and 1 assist; Gabby Haupert added 5 points, 3 aces, 4 kills and 1 block; Josie Lynn 4 points, 2 aces and 6 kills and one amazing dive and roll save; and Hannah Holmes added 3 blocks.
