Knights Dominate At Wabash

The Southwood Knights scored 21 first quarter points and 20 more in the second quarter in a 41-0 win over Wabash Friday.

The Knights would strike early, getting a 9yd scoring run from Carson Heath with 10:43 on the clock. Southwood would strike again with 8:57 on the clock when Alex Farr connected with Carson Rich from 42yds out for a 14-0 lead. With 4:02 left Farr would find Logan Barley from 43yds away to lead 21-0.

Farr and Rich would combine for a second time with 8:32 left in the quarter from 7yds away before Rich scored a third time when he recovered a fumbled lateral. With 41.7 left in the half Farr and Rich would connect one more time from 16yds out to lead 41-0 at the half.

With the new 35 point lead rule the clock ran the entire second half as the teams traded field position for the 41-0 final.
