Manchester U Soccer Falls

NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Manchester women’s soccer team fell in non-conference action against Alma College at Good Field on Saturday September 28. Alma grabbed an early lead and never looked back en route to a 4-0 victory.

The Scots scored in the 10th minute following a header by Makenzie Rajewski. AC added goals in the 20th, 53rd, and 73rd minutes.

Katie Green (Chesterton, Ind./Chesterton) and Violet Dusek (Zionsville, Ind./Zionsville) both registered one shot on goal.

Manchester will have a week off to prepare for its first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent, Hanover College. The Spartans will host the Panthers on Saturday October 5 at 1 pm at Good Field. Alma (5-2-1) will take on Trine on Tuesday October 1.
