Southwood CC @ New Haven

The Southwood cross country teams ran in the New Haven Invite Saturday.

The 7 man team of Jacob Marlow, Weslee Nelson, Landon Topliff, Nathan Lehner, Devin Danzy, Brayden Smith, and Skylar Amos ran in the Division A race, placing 19th in a field of 23 teams. Performances worth noting were Jacob Marlow, who led the way for the Knights, finishing 56th and setting a new PR of 19:05. Landon topliff also ran a season best time of 20:56.

Braden Sweet moved up to compete in the AAA Division to face a very challenging field of runners. In a push to the finish, Braden ran his 2nd best time of the season crossing the line in 16:12 and capturing 8th place in a field of 209 runners.

Aleia Sweet ran a 23:45 and finishing 57th in a field of 164 runners in the A Division. Monica Hobson and Mariah Brown finished 92nd and 94th.
