Northfield JH Volleyball Takes Two From Maconaquah
The Northfield junior high volleyball teams took a pair of matches from Maconaquah Monday.
The 7th grade Lady Norse volleyball team beat Maconaquah on Monday evening 25-20, 25-10. Kirsten Rife led the team with 9 service points, 6 aces, 2 assists and 2 digs. Allie Weaver had 9 service points, 3 aces, 4 assists and 2 kills. Josie Weaver and Camryn Kuhn both added 3 aces and 2 kills. Jaeda Lynn also tallied 2 kills. The ladies are now 13-0 on the season and will play at Wabash on Wednesday at 6 pm.
Northfield’s 8th grade volleyball team defeated Maconaquah tonight 25-20, 25-23. Josie Lynn led the team with 8 points, 4 aces, 6 kills, and 2 blocks. Gabby Haupert added 6 points, 3 aces, and 3 kills. Eden Hoover had 6 points with 3 aces; Brihanna Boocher had 5 points, 1 ace, and 3 assists, and Ava Copeland added 5 assists and 2 kills. The ladies are back in action on Wednesday at Wabash at 6pm.
