Northfield 7th Wins RRC
The 7th grade Northfield Lady Norse volleyball team finished their season undefeated (18-0) by beating Wabash and Tippecanoe Valley in the RRC Finals on Saturday.
In the first game of the day, the ladies defeated Wabash in two sets 25-15, 25-16.
Camryn Kuhn led with 11 service points, 6 aces and 3 kills. Kirsten Rife had 4 service points, 3 kills, 1 ace and 1 assist. Josie Weaver had 4 service points, 3 aces, 4 digs and 2 kills.
In the Championship match, the ladies fell to Tippecanoe Valley 21-25 in the first set but came back to win the second and third set 25-13, 15-8.
Camryn Kuhn led again tallying 12 service points, 4 aces, 3 digs and 3 kills. Allie Weaver had 8 service points, 4 aces, 2 digs and 2 kills. Josie Weaver had 6 service points, 6 digs, 3 kills and 2 aces. Kirsten Rife had 5 service points, 5 assists, 4 digs, 3 kills and an ace. Elli Baker had 5 service points, 2 aces, 2 kills and a dig. Emma Warnock added 4 kills and Graci Napier tallied 4 digs.
