Knights Win Comeback Thriller At Churubusco
The Southwood Knights won a thriller Friday, coming from behind to defeat Churubucsco 21-12
Trailing 12-0 in the second quarter the Knights struck quick twice. With 1:58 on the clock Alex Farr would hook up with Jackson Simons from 49yds out to make it 12-7. The Knights defense would hold with Logan Barley blocking a punt, setting up a second connection between Farr and Simons with 16.1 left to lead 14-12 at the half.
Southwood would tack on the insurance points they needed with 8:16 left in the game when Gabe Lloyd scored from 1yd out for the 21-12 final
