Squires lose both at Peru in JH boys Basketball on Tuesday evening.
Manchester JH boys basketball traveled to Peru to play Indian Springs Thursday night . Squires lost both games with 7th grade final score of 44-55 and 8th grade 39-62
Leading the way for the 7th grade was Gavin Betten with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Ethan Hendrix had 6, Kyler Dale had 5, Logan Craig and Mason Mast each had 4 points. 7th grade record falls to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
Leading the way for the 8th grade was Garrett Sites with 9 points and 5 rebounds. Gavin Martin had 8, Evan Martynowicz had 6, Riley Shock had 5 points to help pace the Squires. 8th grade record falls to 4-6 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
Both teams will host Northfield this coming Thursday for a conference matchup.
The 6th grade boys had to battle late with Eli Mattern hitting a 3 point shot at the buzzer to send the game in to overtime. The Apaches dominated overtime and came away with a hard fought victory. Stats:

Kugler- 2 rebs, 1 asst, 1stl. Coleson continued to play aggressive defense, setting the team up for success.
