Norse Win In Final Seconds At Eastbrook

Junior Alex Haupert hit two free throws with 3 seconds left to help give Northfield their second win of the weekend with a 55-52 win over Eastbrook Saturday.

A desperation pass by the Panthers on their ensuing in bounds play was stolen by Freshman Paul Treska.

Junior Clayton Tomlinson led the way with 16 points, 6 steals, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Haupert was also in double figures with 11; once again off the bench. Senior Graydon Holmes had 10 points and 5 rebounds.

Treska had 6 points and 5 rebounds as Sophomore Kaleb Krom had 6 and Junior Jarret Shafer had two key three pointers for 6 points. Junior Jayden Peas led the team in rebounds with 6.

The Norse get some much needed time off after 7 games in 21 days. They return to action Friday night at home against Whitko as they try to increase their win streak.

The JV fell to 8-4 after losing to Eastbrook.
