Southwood C Tops Peru

Southwood’s C team jumped out to an early 8-0 lead through the opening six minutes and defeated Peru 38-24 Wednesday.

A lackadaisical defensive second quarter defensively allowed the Tigers back in the game. The Knights stretched their lead in the 3rd, but a Peru 3 point basket to end the quarter cut the lead to single digits again. Southwood was able to manage possessions and knocked down enough shots to keep the game at a distance.
