Norse Slowed By Illness
The Northfield boys fell to Whitko 84-51 Friday.
Playing through illness and without ill Clayton Tomlinson the Norse fought valiantly and loss a TRC matchup to Whitko.
Dillon Tomlinson led the way with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Alex Haupert continued his stellar play off the bench with 14 points. Graydon Holmes had 9 points and 4 rebounds
The Norse trailed by 25 in the third quarter before closing the lead to 12 but then the Wildcats pulled away. Jarret Shafer had 6 points, 4 assists and 4 rebounds. Kaleb Krom added 4 points and 4 rebounds and Paul Treska scored 2 points to round out the scoring.
The Varsity is 4-9 and will have a three game week next week beginning Tuesday night at Tri Central.
The JV won big moving to 8-5 with Eli Kroh scoring 16 points.
