Manchester Boys Shut Out Peru
The Manchester boys soccer team opened their season with a 5-0 road win at Peru Thursday.
Aries Naranjo scored the first goal, Owen Kruschwitz scored the second on a pk. Michael Ortiz had a hat trick in the second half. A.J. Fortman had 2 assists. Gavin Simmers had an assist. The Squire defense held The Tigers to 2 shots on goal.
In the JV match the Squires won 6-0. Goals by Jose Hernandez, 2 Evan Martynowicz and Tyler McLain with a hat trick.
