Wabash Soccer Knocks Off Valley
Wabash boys soccer earned its first win of the year with a 7-3 victory over TRC opponent Tippecanoe Valley Tuesday.
Jacob France led off the scoring with two goals in the first half. Anthony Long notched another first-half goal to put the Apaches up 3-0. Valley managed to get 2 goals back before Solomon France took the ball through the middle of their defense for an unassisted goal to close out the first-half scoring. Valley put in a penalty kick early in the second half to bring the game to 4-3. Wabash went on to score 3 more in the second half. Grant Carandante, Andrew Dinkins, and Troy Guenin-Hodson each scoring before the end of the game. Greyson Deboard ended the game with 12 saves.
