Norse JH CC Boys Win Valley Invite
The Northfield JH Boys Cross Country team won the Championship trophy at the Tippecanoe Valley Invitational Saturday.

Leading the way was Ty Leming finishing 9th and earning a medal in a time of 12:05. Scoring for the Norse were Jaden Baer(12:15/ 12th), Tate Barlow(12:17/13th), Holten Satterthwaite(13:03/21st) and Steven Kowalczuk(13:07/23rd). Rounding out the top 7 runners for the Norse were Cooper Good and Kourtland Pratt. Turning in Season best times today were Lucis Bever, Luke Haupert, Wyatt Bucher, Landon McLaughlin and Nate Hodson.
In cool damp weather conditions the Lady Norse Middle School Cross Country team put together a fine performance finishing 2nd on the day as a team.
Leading the way for the Norse and earning medals on the day were Laney Haupert placing 5th in a time of 13:06 and Kaleigh Rice placing 10th in a time of 13:37. Rounding out the scoring and top 7 finishers for the Norse were Teagan Baer(11th/13:47), Mikayla Meyer(25th/14:58), Emme Hanes(24th/15:35), Emily Miller(37th/15:57) and Ali Copeland(42nd/16:17).
