Lady Apache Soccer Keeps Rolling

The Wabash Lady Apaches soccer team moved to 8-1-1 on the season with a 4-1 win over Tri-Central Wednesday.

The Lady Apaches that scored were senior Madi Lutz with 2 goals, one on a beautiful finish to the corner on a break-away, Senior Nici Gunderman and Sophomore Rylee Yoakum. Gunderman and Senior Morgan Mallow both provided assists for the Apaches.

Sophomore Libby Mattern continues to absolutely excel at the outside mid position and Junior Ashley Province and Senior Sabine Thomas came up big with minutes in the midfield position. Sophomore Hannah Layne had another solid night in goal with 5 saves. Defense tonight was lead by Junior Kalista Ballshmidt, Junior Kiersten O’Neill, Freshman Kiana Jone and Sophomore Abbie Boggs.

Wabash returns to play Saturday against Eastern with a 10:00 am start at Alumni Field.
