The Northfield, Wabash and Southwood cross country team participated in the Marion sectional Saturday.
In the girls race Northfield finished eighth. Qualifying as individuals for next weeks regional were Northfield’s Mara Zolman, Southwood’s Aleia Sweet & Mariah Brown and Wabash’s Sierra Hall and Kalisen Kugler.
Braden Sweet of Southwood was the overall winner in the boys race. The Wabash team finished third and Southwood fourth to advance to next week. Northfield’s Andrew Burns qualified as an individual.
