The Southwood Knights clinched the TRC title with a 32-8 win over Tippecanoe Valley Friday.
The tone was set early when the Knight defense held Valley on their first possession before striking on their first offensive play when alex farr connected with Carson Rich from 57yds out for a 6-0 lead.
the Knights would open things up in the second. Isaiah Sutton would score from 8yds out before Farr and Rich connected for a second time. Dawson Filip would then find the end zone from 22yds away to make it 25-0 at the half.
In the third Farr scrambled and found Cole Winer for a 44yd strike for the 32-0 lead.
The Knights would give up Valley’s lone score with 2:39 left in the game.
