Lady Squires Complete Comeback Against Cass

The Manchester Lady squires came from behind to defeat Lewis Cass 52-49 Thursday.

Morgan Parrett- 7 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 assist
Emma Garriott- 10 points, 1 assist, 7 rebounds, 1 steal
Makenzy Meyer- 4 points, 2 rebounds
Eva Bazzoni- 13 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals
Keilan Creager- 10 points, 1 assist, 3 rebounds, 1 steal
Ainsley West- 8 points, 3 assists

Coach’s Comments: What an effort tonight. Ainsley West came back tonight and gave us 22 minutes off the bench and guarded their best girl down the stretch for us. Keilan Creager hits a timely 3 late to help us get the win. Couldn’t be prouder of our entire team though when Makenzy Meyer gives us great minutes on their second best player inside and Morgan Parrett
gets some timely buckets as well. Finally both Eva Bazzoni and Emma Garriott stuff the stat sheets to round out an entire team effort. Lewis Cass is a great team and one that we are thankful to come out on the right side of the score tonight. Looking forward to continuing to grow and preparing for Huntington North next Tuesday night at home!

Coach’s Comments: Our ladies played hard tonight. They fought back from a 7 point deficit to tie it up and send it into overtime. Down the stretch they were strong with the ball and hit the shots they needed to finish. Our defensive pressure gave Lewis Cass some trouble down the
stretch. Great team win!
