The Wabash girls junior high basketball teams split a pair of games with Manchester Wednesday

Wabash 7th grade fell to Manchester 29-17

All of the Apaches contributed in their own Bryleigh Boggs put up 17 points, going 11 for 12 from the free throw line. Boggs also grabbed 3 rebounds. Logan Wright crashed the boards and pulled down 10 solid rebounds for the Apaches. Haylee Friend played amazing defense for the Apaches and was able to grab 3 rebounds in the process. Olivia Burns also contributed 2 rebounds for her team, flashing often to help produce more movement on the court. Ava Bishir and Brianna Boggs provided many assists and took shots of their own to try and put points on the scoreboard as well. Olivia Shepler worked in the paint to play solid defense while playing post for the Apaches as well.

Wabash won the 8th grade game 33-28

Kait Honeycutt with 16 pts, 9 of those points were 3’s, and 5 for 6 from the free throw line, 7 rebounds

Janika Stumbo with 9 pts going 3 for 6 from the free throw line, and 3 rebounds

Sammie Walter had 4 pts, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks

Kenley McWhirt had 2 pts, 4 steals, and 4 rebounds

Olivia Braun with 2 pts, 1 steal, and 6 rebounds

Ella Hartley with 1 rebound
